There’s a lot of value in looking our best. And that’s not a shallow thing to say — it’s just a fact. While looks might not be everything, it would be ridiculous to claim that they’re of no importance whatsoever. They quite clearly are. Indeed, did you know that attractive people are more likely to be hired than less attractive people (also: extremely attractive people are less likely to be hired, as people tend to think ‘they only get by on their looks’).

It’s crazy to think that how we stand can impact how others perceive us, but it’s true. What’s crazy is that the person doing the perceiving isn’t even aware of it themselves. You won’t notice whether a person is standing up tall, but you’ll be subconsciously giving them a tick of approval of your head. In this day and age, correct posture is hard to come by. We just spend so much time sitting at our desks! But it’s something that you can fix. Performing planks and practising yoga will both improve your posture, as well as learning how to sit at your desk correctly.

Confidence and happiness have a gigantic impact on our appearance. Everyone wants to be around the life of the party! And you know what they say about confidence being the sexiest asset you can have. Of course, like with posture, part of the appeal of these things is that they’re not found everywhere. Happiness and confidence are in short supply! But they are things that you can bring into your life. Meditation, yoga, exercise, and eliminating bad habits will make you happier and more confident, and thus more attractive.

Focus on Skin

Your outfit will play a big role in how people perceive you. But that’s just the headline, the thing that people are drawn to. The body of the text is your skin. If that’s on point, then you’ve got a winning article! If your skin isn’t looking as radiant as it could be, then look at making some changes. Using brightening cream, working out, and taking cold showers will all help to make your skin glow. Bring them into your life, and it won’t be long before you notice a big improvement in your skin.

Dress From the Bottom Up

Another thing with our clothes is that we tend to focus on the top part of the body, since this is what our eyes are drawn to. However, the quality of the overall outfit lies with the quality of the bottom half of the outfit. If you have killer shoes and a skirt, then your outfit will basically be done.
